About Canary Connect!
"Human Canaries"

In 1993, I selected the name Canary Connect to illustrate the focus of my endeavors and as a symbol of my goal and purpose.

Canaries were used in coalmine tunnels to warn miners of dangerous coal gases. Since canaries are more sensitive to coal gases than humans, they would stop singing (or even die) when the dangerous gases were present in the mineshafts. Coal miners would then know to leave immediately.

Many affected by Multiple Chemical Sensitivities/Environmental Illness (MCS/EI) have come to regard themselves as "Human Canaries," and are singing out the message of danger for today's world.

In addition, persons dealing with Fibromyalgia, Candida-Related Complex (CRC), food allergies and/or other health challenges may also consider themselves to be "Human Canaries." They can "sing" out regarding the:

• Multi-facetted causes of these and other health challenges
• Importance of a chemical-free food plan and nutrition program
• Importance of high quality, bio-available nutritional supplements
• Importance of using safe, effective, economical "truly" biodegradable household products to help clean up our environment
• Lifestyle choices to prevent the development of ill health and its challenges.

On my personal journey to heal from many interconnected health challenges, I gathered healing information and shared it with you via Allergy & Candida Cooking: Understanding & Implementing Plans for Healing and 24 issues of Canary Connect News, now called CCN Collection.

For future publications, I am expanding my healthy living writings to include an emphasis on prevention as well as healing.

This site now includes my children’s books publishing section, another passion I have chosen to incorporate into Canary Connect.
